My Open Opinion on Zim politics and Opposition

I think the opposition parties in the country need to come up with a strong funding so that they can be able to run their own programs that empower people, not just a coalition.

People in Zimbabwe are tired or promises and wont take anyone seriously who is not doing anything on the ground.

Zanu PF will keep winning for one reason, they engage the communities in (almost) everything they do.

Though there might be flaws in how it is being done and the extent of its success, but it is giving people something to look on to and point to.

The opposition needs to come up with programmes and projects that they can practically implement before the elections for them to win.

Instead of complaining about bad roads and the state of the hospitals and schools, they need to be the ones coming up with funding, rehabilitating the roads, building new roads, new schools, providing drugs in hospitals so that they can prove and people can see how capable they are, than to just speak of how bad things are getting every day.

Zanu PF is giving people food right now, though it is in the name of the government and do you know the message it is sending through that? yet we have an opposition qualified on posting on social media yet not doing things on the ground.

Look for funding, feed the hungry, put boreholes for people, show no partiality in your distribution, prove to people that you will be the goverment of the whole nation not just your supporters, that is how you might win come 2018.

People need a practical alternative, a party that can be judged by its works and measurable delivery not what you used to do or what you say you will do once you get into power.

They say the devil you know is better than a saint you have never seen, what if you get into power and you forget to deliver on your promises like what we are seeing happening right now.

We have regimes that have trusted the opposition in countries like Egypt, Libya but what have they delivered so far, nothing.

All this is working against the opposition unless and until they are able to prove that they are a viable alternative to Zanu PF by practical works.

Get involved with the people, prove you’re worthy. that’s how you are to convince people not just coming up with a coalition..

Build roads, do what you can, fix what is being done wrong and people will be the judges come 2018.

Don’t just promise, we have seen how promises can be broken under the current regime so we have enough of it...
