Zvirekwi leaving Caps United FC

2016 Premier Soccer League (PSL) champions, Caps United President, Farai Jere says his team needs a few additions following their qualification for the CAF Champions League.
"With every success in football comes the threat of losing players as they are poached by other clubs and caps united will be no exception,” said Jere.
“There is also no guarantee that winger, Tafadzwa Rusike will stay after we endured a difficult season financially and on a number of occasions players threatened to boycott matches. Caps United will be participating in 2017 CAF Champions League and Jere said that the journey will require more additions to the current squad, hinting that the club would face problems in retaining the services of some players. 2016 Soccer Star of the Year the clubs hot property, Hardlife Zvirekwi and Top Goal Scorer, Leonard Tsipa have been linked with rich Tanzanian clubs. Defender, Stephen Makatuka has been linked with South African clubs, while Abbas Amidu's contract runs out at the end of the year as well as that of fellow defender, Dennis Dauda and speedy winger, Phineas Bhamusi. Caps need to tie up all players before the December 31, the deadline for CAF Champions League players registration.
