ZBC averts Wenera drama blackout

ZBC averted an unsavoury outcome after it reached a settlement with the producers of the popular TV drama Wenera to pay money owed.
Fans were left in shock earlier today when the show’s producer Eddie Nhlovu said that the show which airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 19.30pm on the national broadcast would pulled from the broadcaster until payment was made.
He then provided an update a few hours later:
GREAT NEWS!
“We have just come out from a meeting with the Executive from ZBC at Pockets Hill just now and I am safe to say we have resolved the misunderstanding that had took place.
“Wenera continues with it’s Monday and Tuesday 19:30hrs slots and tonight Episode 57 is on.
“Thank you for the support and staying positive with the program in such time of darkness.
