Untikolotshi at Theatre in The Park By Arts and Entrainment Reporter Theatre for Everyone of Bulawayo will this week make a date with theatre in the park in Harare gardens with their play Untikolotshi. The play finally coming to Harare after it was cancelled in July due to the #shutdown protests and will run from 24th to 26th of August. The hilarious play is produced by Theatre in the Park and Theatre for Everyone Bulawayo and was written by Nonhlalo Dube and is directed by Styx Mhlanga. “Taking this play to Theatre in the park is a good opportunity for the actors especially for the upcoming as it will give them exposure and a chance to perform out of the city,” says Theatre for Everyone producer Nonhlalo Dube. “This is also a beginning of a relationship between us and Theatre in the park for we are looking forward to be taking more plays there, which Theatre for Everyone has produced since its launch.” Untikolotshi which means the goblin is a story of a young girl who has a baby and refuses to name his father .She gets miserable as the goblin continues to threaten and abuse her. She finally confesses who the father of the baby is and her father takes drastic action to deal with the goblin. The play is packed with suspense, twist and turns that keeps the viewers intrigued, entertained and glued on the stage. The cast consists of Fortune ‘Folomani Ruzungunde, Tsitsi Gumbo, Nomvuyiso Mabi, Greatjoy Hlatshwayo, Buhlebenkosi Maphosa, John Mabuyane and Primrose Ndlovu
