POTRAZ bans promotions by NetOne, Telecel Zimbabwe and Econet mobile networks

The Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ) has ordered the countries three mobile networks NetOne, Telecel Zimbabwe and Econet to stop running all their mobile promotions .
Information says the cash strapped government issued the directive following reports that the promotions were no longer bringing in the much needed revenue.
The government is arguing that millions of subscribers were now transmitting information and calling almost to nothing.
NetOne was running its Bundles Reappear and Data Bundles Reloaded promotions, Telecel Zimbabwe, The Mega bonus and Econet the 7x promotion, Bundles of Joy , buddy family and friends, the Daily, Weekly and Monthly data bundle.
