Vice President Emerson Mngangwa said with over 4 million Zimbabweans in dire needs of food the Zanu pf government has launched yet another $344 million Special Programme on Maize Production for Import Substitution that will see farmers being given equipment and farming inputs to produce 2 million metric tonnes of maize grain on 400 000 hectares of which 200 00 will be on irrigated land. VP calls on the both public and private and farmers to come together and co-operate on this national programe.
